The 24th regiment badge as worn on British colonial pith helmets in the Zulu Boar war at Rorkes Drift and Isandlhwana.

Pith Helmets are made from trees grown in the northern part of Vietnam.

The pith helmet is one of the most recognisable British Icons of the British colonial past.
