For me Ray Mears is the best exponent of Bushcraft skills. His television series have done much to educate people and popularise interest in the outdoors, bushcraft and the skills of indigenous peoples.

The eCamo blog has only been going for a couple of weeks. We intend to add more info posts on camping, bushcraft and other related subjects over the coming weeks.

Its funny the results search engines throw up some times. The word “web” would have been the keyword that gave the eCamo web site this high-ranking position. http://www.eCamo.co.uk online are one of the largest online authorised dealers for a range of products called “Web-tex” Hope you weren’t to disappointed with the site!

Hi, How about a larger choice of kid’s camo gear?
We wanted kids dpm army clothing and some army toys! You have a good selection of kids army and hunting clothing, a selection of camo army toys and guns would go well.

Campfire Dice Potatoes

Ingredients

4 large potatoes
2 celery stalks
4 cubes butter
1 medium onion
parsley
salt and pepper
water

Directions

Cut aluminum foil into 4, 12X12 inch squares.
Dice potatoes, onions and celery into 1 inch cubes or smaller. ( 1″ for potatoes, smaller for celery and onions).

Put all diced items into a bowl, add add salt, pepper, and parsley to your liking.

Mix up until all ingredients are thouroughly combined. Place equal amounts from the bowl onto seperate pieces of the aluminum foil squares you cut.

Add butter to your liking to each group. Wrap up foil around your mixture leaving a small opening.

Pour about a 1/4 cup of water into each and crimp the hole shut.

Place over the campfire for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
Empty into a bowl and enjoy.
